Outfitting
Baltiysky Zavod, JSC manufactures ladders and gangways, handrails, guardrails, awnings, floorings, racks and shelves, ventilation ducts, brackets, etc. The shipyard also produces Simpac modular paneling elements, as well as various engineering items for the vessels built at the shipyard. The shipyard’s outfitting & painting shop specializes in installation of insulation fittings, furring, floorings, rubber seals, as well as Simpac modular panels for accommodation spaces.
The shop is equipped with a 16-ton overhead traveling crane and six 3.2-ton beam cranes. The shop has the following steel cutting equipment:
* Guillotine steel cutting machines for cutting steel plates up to 10 mm thick;
* Crank press for cutting steel profile with 25-ton force, hydraulic rollers and presses for bending steel plates;
* Pipe-bending machines;
* Turning lathes, milling, drilling, and other machines;
* Welding equipment for semi-automatic CO2-shielded welding, argon-arc and electric-arc welding.
